Stromklang: Alpha Tapir

Alpha Tapir is a modular synth, and every module in it is mapped for Roto-Control: around 90 module types and several hundred parameters, with names, detents, step labels and motor positions pushed To and from the plugin or standalone version.

How it works:
Click a module on the canvas and it lands on the eight encoders.

The arrows page through that module's parameter banks, or with Select on they walk from module to module across the patch.
Buttons under the encoders reset a parameter to its default.

The motors follow edits made on screen or by automation, so it reads as well as writes.
The canvas can also follow the hardware: turn an encoder and the grid zooms to that module and brackets the control you are moving. This is on by default but can be turned off.

Tested with the device Somebody has run this into the gear it was made for.
